Giving Reclaimed Wood New Life, One Handmade Piece at a Time
Welcome to Wood Designs by Amy — where reclaimed wood finds new life through creativity, color, and purpose.
Every piece in my shop is handcrafted from leftover or reclaimed wood, paired with vibrant resin accents to create unique accessories inspired by nature, reading, and everyday joy.
What began with simple bookmarks has grown into a warm collection of book caddies, page holders, necklaces, keychains, plant stands, vases, and other handcrafted pieces — all designed to bring beauty and function into your daily routine.
🌿 My Process
I hand-select each piece of walnut, oak, or spalted maple and let the natural grain guide the design. Resin is added in flowing river patterns, coastal colors, or earthy tones to create one-of-a-kind details you won’t find anywhere else. No two items are ever identical, and that’s what makes them special.
🌟 My Collections
To help you find the style you love, each piece belongs to one of my themed collections, such as:
Riverwood Dreams – nature-inspired wood & resin with flowing river textures
Ocean Dreams – coastal blues, sea creatures, and ocean-inspired accents
Timberline – bold, earthy wood-and-resin jewelry with simple chains
Whispering Light – soft, warm décor pieces like candle holders
Everwood Reading Collection – bookmarks, book caddies, and page holders for book lovers
Woodland Letters – handcrafted wood & resin letter keychains, perfect for personalization and everyday carry
Woodland Critters – adorable animal-inspired wood & resin pieces for nature and wildlife lovers
💜 Why I Create
I love taking small, leftover pieces of wood and turning them into something meaningful — a bookmark that marks your next chapter, a necklace that makes you feel connected to nature, or a handmade gift that brings a smile.
Every order supports my small shop, and I truly appreciate it.
📦 From My Hands to Yours
Each item is thoughtfully packaged and shipped with care. Many pieces arrive gift-ready, wrapped in tissue and boxed for easy gifting.
Thank you for visiting Wood Designs by Amy — I hope you find something that brings a little spark of joy into your day.
